Michael was an incredible blessing to our community as a whole, and to each individual he met…he will be missed beyond words.
Most recently, Michael was the chair of the Membership committee – and he worked tirelessly, creating a committee that was invigorated and dedicated. At every Friday night Shabbat service – Michael was at the door – greeting old friends and making sure that new members and visitors felt welcome. He was always the first to show up, the last to leave and continuously looking for ways to help with whatever needed to be done.
At the request of Michael’s wife Carolyn and children Amanda and Gregory, a fund has been established in Michael’s memory. Whether used for opportunities for members to develop new leadership skills or perhaps an endowment fund, Carolyn will be involved with the Board in deciding the best use for the funds.
