Rabbi---thank you for sharing. It is so dear to experience the trip to Israel through your words. I visited Tsat in 2000 and still recall it's special, mystical, essence. You made it even more meaningful with your stories of Rabbi Isaac Luria and quotes by Herschel.

This popped up on my email today as I have a blog called Getting My Feet Wet and anything with those words in it is sent to me by "Rabbi Google".. ;-)
And since I had my first experience(s) in Israel exactly 50 years ago now, I can so relate to your experiences described here...and look forward to hearing more as your time there progresses.
I am in fact in the process of making an art quilt that depicts in some way my time spent in Israel when I was in my 20's. Sweet memories! Stay dry and enjoy your time there. Kiss the ground for me!

Hello Rabbi Olivier,
It was wonderful to meet you at SAND recently--and thanks so much again for your kind words and comments! Sometime after we spoke, I wished I had gotten your email address so that we could stay in touch. I thought I might later get it from the SAND people, but hadn't gotten around to it yet.

Then a few days ago, Matt from the Nonduality America blog/website asked me what some of the highlights from the conference had been for me. One of the highlights I mentioned was my brief meeting with this wonderful rabbi from Seattle named Olivier. Next thing I know, Matt sends me an email with your contact info here...he was able to locate you via Google.

So, again, it was wonderful to meet you and I really appreciate how much the DVD was appreciated by your and your group! Please contact me by email sometime when it's convenient for you.

Much love to you!
