March 30 – April 7, 2018

What does the ancient myth of the Hebrews’ Exodus from Egypt, bitter herbs, and Matzah Ball soup have to do with my current life-experience? What if the story was also our story? What if the taste of bitterness was about universal human suffering? What if a simple bowl of soup was about community? Come explore with Bet Alef the deeper and more personal meanings embedded in this millenia-old yet now-more-than-ever relevant Passover Holiday. Jewish or not, first-timer or repeat participant, Bet Alef invites you to join in the warmth of community to celebrate the holiday of freedom. Saturday, March 31, 6PM.

With Rabbi Olivier BenHaim as our guide, we will explore the deeper mystical teachings of our lineage and share the traditional symbols, story & songs, in order to discover anew the spiritual dimensions of Passover and their meaning in our own lives.
