Purim at Bet Alef is like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Our rabbi and musicians create, year after year, incredible musicals with amazing costumes and hilarious lyrics to retell the story of the Book of Esther in the most joyful celebration of the holiday. Come as you are, or dare to wear your own disguise, and join us for an evening of utter comedy and serious depth as we immerse ourselves in the teachings and the revelry of Purim.

Join us for our annual shpiel, where you’ll hear parodied music from such artists as Madonna, Wham!, Eurythmics, A-ha, Human League, and more! 80’s attire? Think Cyndi Lauper…Flash Dance/torn t-shirts…Jane or Olivia in leg warmers and sweatbands… padded shoulders, bangle bracelets, and big hair… too much makeup and neon colors like electric yellow, magenta, and lime green!
We promise not to gag you with a spoon….because it’s going to be totally rad and tubular!
